Vozkey

Privacy Policy

Last updated 4 September 2026. Applies to the Vozkey iPhone app and its keyboard.

Vozkey collects no personal data. There is no account, no server of ours, and nothing you say or type is transmitted to us or to anyone else.

What stays on your device

All of it. Specifically:

How speech recognition works

Vozkey uses Apple's on-device speech framework together with a speech model bundled inside the app. Both run locally on your iPhone's own processor.

The one time Vozkey touches the network is to download Apple's language model for your language, if your device does not already have it. That is a download to your phone. No audio, no text and no information about you is sent as part of it. Once it is on your device, Vozkey works with no network connection at all — on a plane, in a dead zone, or with Wi-Fi and cellular data switched off.

When iOS asks for Speech Recognition permission, it shows Apple's standard wording, which mentions data being sent to Apple. That wording is the same for every app that requests the permission. Vozkey uses on-device recognition and does not send your speech to Apple or to us.

Why the keyboard asks for Full Access

iOS keyboards are sandboxed and cannot reach anything outside themselves unless you grant Full Access. Vozkey needs it for exactly one reason: so the keyboard can read the transcript that the Vozkey app has produced, through a private storage area shared between the two.

Full Access does not give Vozkey the microphone — nothing does; only the app can open one. Vozkey does not log your keystrokes, does not read what you have typed in other apps for any purpose beyond placing your dictated text correctly, and has no networking code in the keyboard at all.

Analytics, advertising and tracking

There are none. Vozkey contains no analytics SDK, no crash reporter, no advertising network, and no third-party code that reports on you. It does not track you across other companies' apps or websites, and it never asks for permission to, because it has nothing to do with the answer.

Subscriptions

Subscriptions are sold and processed by Apple through the App Store. Apple tells Vozkey whether your subscription is currently active, and nothing more. We never receive your name, your email address, your payment card, or your billing address. Apple's handling of that information is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

Children

Vozkey is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone, including children.

Your rights

Laws such as the GDPR and the CCPA give you rights to access, correct, export and delete the personal data a company holds about you. We hold none, so there is nothing for us to hand over or erase. To remove everything Vozkey has stored on your device, delete the app.

Changes

If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted here with a new date. Vozkey's design is built around collecting nothing, so any change in that direction would be a change to the product, not a quiet edit to this page.
